Just when we were all excited about the tractors Uncle Randy & Auntie Cake sent, Charlie got an early Christmas present! I noticed that the UPS truck came down our driveway and to the back of the house, which is out of the ordinary, so I decided to go meet him out back. He was in the truck forever, and then he came out with this HUGE box. I had no idea what it was, but then the UPS man said he remember when he got his first horse like this one when he was a kid. Uncle Randy & Auntie Cake sent Charlie his very own horse for Christmas!!! After a good hour of putting it together (and a lot of sweating, I might add), I was able to let Charlie test it out! He can't get up himself yet, but he sure lets us know when he wants to get up. He always walks by the horse and points at it and says, "Mommy, neigh"! Not only does he love bouncing up and down, he is learning how to take care of his horse. Each day he gives the horse water, feeds him a carrot, and combs his mane. I am glad he's learning this now, because he is going to take over with Payton as soon as he can!
Thank you so much for the horse, Uncle Randy & Auntie Cake! I am sure Charlie is going to love his horse as much as your girls did, and you are doing a great job of keeping his farmer roots in him! We miss you guys tons and love you very much!
Yee-haw!
Combing the horses mane.
Giving him a drink of water (I forgot to get a pic of the carrot feeding).
